King’s Adelaide Hills Now Open for School Tours
19 Oct 2022

School Tours at King’s Baptist Grammar School’s new Adelaide Hills Campus are now open, with construction completed and the founding cohort of students set to commence in January 2023. Families are invited to book a tour to experience firsthand the heart behind the King’s community and experience the new state-of-the-art facilities.

Principal of King’s Baptist Grammar School, Don Grimmett, is delighted to invite families to the school’s Adelaide Hills Campus, located in Mount Barker’s Newenham Estate.

“We are so proud to be opening the doors to our new Adelaide Hills Campus and to bring our rich and strong 40-year heritage of holistic Christian education to the Hills Community.”

“After many years of planning, we are thrilled that the day has finally come to commence School Tours and invite families to experience King’s Adelaide Hills; a Jesus-centred School providing excellence in teaching and learning. We value - and empower - individuals in partnership with families, to do life better, together”, he said.

King’s Baptist Grammar School’s Adelaide Hills Campus will offer an Early Learning Centre and Reception to Year 2 classes from 2023, extending by one year level each year thereafter. Following this plan, the School will offer ELC to Year 12 in the next ten years with the first group of Year 12 students set to graduate in 2033.

“It’s an exciting time to join our King’s Adelaide Hills Community and to be part of the founding cohort in 2023,” Don added.

Newly appointed Head of School for Adelaide Hills, Juliana Saunders, says that King’s considers it a privilege to work in partnership with parents and caregivers to awaken students’ academic, cultural, sporting and spiritual capabilities.

“This three-way partnership between home, school and community enables the unearthing of a young person’s gifts and talents so they can thrive and serve their community throughout their lives.”

“We look forward to meeting more families in the Adelaide Hills over the coming months during our School Tours and to opening our Campus to students in January next year,” she added.

Ahead of 2023, King’s Adelaide Hills is hosting a number of School Tours for families to experience the heart of King’s and view the new campus. Tour dates are filling fast and there are limited places available.
