A Message from Kylie
19 Oct 2021

On 1 June, we were delighted to open applications as we bring King’s Baptist Grammar School to the Adelaide Hills.

During this time, I have had many wonderful opportunities to speak with families. It is always a privilege to learn more about your family and answer questions as part of these conversations.

A common question has been, how soon is too soon to apply?! As a Mum, I can certainly appreciate when you have a little one in your arms, school does feel like it is a long way away! It has been our experience, however, that early applications help families to secure a place at King’s.

Over the last few weeks, I have had the opportunity to meet personally with the Hills community. I joined King’s Principal, Don Grimmett, as we connected with Chris from Hills Radio. I was also fortunate to attend the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast at the beautiful Auchendarroch House. It was a real joy to speak with so many special people from the wider Mount Barker region, who share the same love for community and service of others as we do here at King's.

With beautiful spring weather on our doorstep, there is much to look forward to, and as the end of year approaches, I pray that your family is blessed with time to enjoy together.

Warmest regards,
Kylie Winterfield,
Enrolments Officer - Adelaide Hills
